Hi Anonymous. Its a hard question to answer really, most makeup as you well know is fairly expensive. Professionals use a wide range of brands, Mac is well known and trusted and the colour range is amazing. This i am sure you will be able to find wherever you are. Also if you are looking for amazing intense colours illamasqua is a reasonably new brand, they are taking the world by storm. This info really depends on where you are too. So if this is not of any use to you get back to me with more specific details of where you are based and what sort of makeup you are interested in.There is a well established Japanese brand called RMK. You will find them in selfridges in London and Manchester etc. I mention this brand in particular because in the U.K they are more well known for their skincare. Which is fairly reasonably priced and really good. However in Japan they are extremely well known for their Makeup which I can personally recommend. However they dont have a massive range and unfortunately it is not for every skintype. As they are not that well known in the U.K for their makeup they are still reasonably priced for what you get in terms of quality. Please let me know if this answers your question.
